Have you ever looked at a stone and just felt something, some kind of familiarity or maybe comfort? Maybe that stone was one you hadn't seen before, it was new to you, but you still felt like it was a perfect fit in your life in some way. Believe it or not, but any stone that resonates with you that way could be your stone. It's not an uncommon phenomena, everything has a vibration (This is important); whether that be at a spiritual, emotional, or physical level depends on the case. Why that stone just so happens to be a match for you is personal, it may be relevant to a recent issue, tied to the future, or maybe you attract its vibes (This is good! Your energy is in balance if this is the case). Sometimes this may be a general draw towards it, like it speaks to you, beckoning you over. Maybe it's a shout, a call, an outright pull of energy that ushers you into a whole new world of feelings.
This is great! Now you have the stone that you feel most comfortable with. This is a starting point (An favorable one at that). But now you might wonder what you can do with it or what this even means to begin with. In short, some of the work has already been done. Vibrations and energy attractions are common, and that attraction from the stone and back is a positive sign. It means that you have strong vibes and positive energy to attract something like this, and if that is the case, you may already be attracting other valuables (Spiritually or otherwise). You can sort of think of it like dominoes. But, just because you are in good balance with energy doesn't mean others are. People have negative thoughts, and that negativity is bound to lure in other negative things, which may or may not inadvertently affect you. If it does affect you, this could lead to gloomy thoughts of your own (Don't worry, it happens to the best of us). On the plus side, it is something you can deal with, stone or no stone.
While it is true certain stones are good for certain things, they can be used in various ways. Your stone is capable of tuning the area around you to a certain vibe, so it's best to keep it on hand. But you also will want to be familiar with the stone, which is best done with meditation (or holding it is fine too). Again, each stone or crystal will have different influences on energy. In general, however, you will be able to work with it at work, home, school, and even while you rest. So wherever you are, you should be able to reel in the best energies for you. It may not seem like it, but this is one way of dealing with negativity. Unfortunately, its presence may act like a cloud that sticks and haunts over us. If its influence is overbearing and affects you no matter where you go, it may be a good time to cleanse both yourself and your stone. You can banish the adversity with a stone, but positive thoughts and being in tune with nature are amazing alternatives. Other methods for helping with cleansing are aromatherapy and Smudging -burning herbs for purification with smoke. Stones, unfortunately, aren't blessed with the ability to think and it tends to fall on us to make sure bad vibes or low energy influences don't hinder the work of our stones. In fact, a similar method to one you might use works well with stones. Smudging and using your stone to be in balance with nature is a prime method of cleansing. You may let the smoke purge and breathe life into your stone. You may also leave your stone in the sunlight or moonlight or let it rest with the Earth by burying it, and it will be cleansed in its slumber, which may take around four hours. Now, this may not be the only reason you cleanse your stone; another reason may be simple rejuvenation for the energy in the stone (and yourself).
You don't wanna be on her bad side...
