Metaphysical Properties, Meaning and Uses of Ametrine Gemstone

Stone for Hybrid Balance

Ametrine forms when Amethyst reaches a certain temperature within the earth and begins its gorgeous transformation into citrine. When this transformation is incomplete, the result is a gemstone with purple and yellow-ish coloration, often exhibiting clear sections as well: Ametrine!

Ametrine resonates with the unified strengths of both gemstones. This gemstone provides the perfect balance to masculine and feminine energies, imparting a strong cleansing, motivational energy that is partnered with soothing inner strength, compassion, and love. Because of the duality of this stone, it is considered an excellent tool for balancing the chakras and maintaining a healthy emotional center. It reminds us that we are in control of our lives, and that all matters connected to our goals, wishes, and desires can be influenced by focusing our personal power.

awesome ametrine!

I'm totally blind, so when I ordered this ametrine, I thought I was getting a completely smooth faceted point. However, I also love stones that are partly faceted-polished and partly raw. So when this one showed up in the mail and I noticed it was top polished and raw on the sides, I loved it even more than the totally smooth one I'd been expecting. It has amazing energy and the coloring as described to me was gorgeous. I prefer the energy of richer deeper purple and that's how this one felt, so I'm glad it was as dark purple and rich citrine color as how it was described to me. This is going to be one of my new favorite pieces. Thanks for selling such energetically awesome stones and crystals like this one.

Questioning the Amethrine

I thought I would see actual citrine in the gemstone. What I see is Amethyst.
