Sage bundles and smudge sticks should always be burned in a fire-proof receptacle such as a Stone bowl or on a Selenite plate away from any flammable materials to ensure the safest experience. Always keep your Sage bundles or smudge sticks away from pets or children, and store them in a dry area to prevent mildew. Singe Sage is a natural material, its color may change over time or it may absorb humidity from the surrounding air, making it difficult to light. Your Sage can be restored to its dry state with sun exposure, but please do not ever place your Sage in a microwave!
