Metaphysical Properties, Uses, and Meaning of Polka Dot Agate
Polka Dot Agate is a stone of good luck, finding silver linings, and keeping the heart full of youthful innocence and joy. It is extremely helpful when going through times of difficulty, as it helps us keep a mindset of "water off a duck's back." The little things are less troublesome when working with Polka Dot Agate, because it assists in dissolving negativity, leaving us free to find the beauty and whimsy in the world around us. Polka Dot Agate is very much a stone for keeping your head in the clouds, but your feet on the ground, as it promotes self-trust, security, curiosity, and optimism.
Polka Dot Agate is white, grey, cream, beige, milky, or clear with flecks or dots of deeper color (typically black, brown, reddish-brown, yellow, or green) dancing within it. Due to their growth pattern, they are especially prone to dips or caverns, usually filled with druzy! Polka Dot Agate is also called Spotted Agate, but should not be confused with King Cobra Jasper (which is also referred to as Spotted Agate in some circles).
These specimens are from Oregon, USA.
