Zebra Calcite’s layered appearance is due to growths of different colors of Calcite, Aragonite, and other minerals forming alongside one another. This creates a stone that may be yellow, white, black, grey, brown, yellow-orange, beige, cream, or ivory and whose stripes can form unique wave patterns. Each specimen is different from the next, with no two being the same!
