Chrysoprase is in the Chalcedony family and can be found in shades of pale yellow-green to deep sea-green, depending on where it was sourced. It is often opaque, but A-grade specimens may feature semi-translucence. Due to its growth pattern, Chrysoprase may feature dips, internal fractures, or inclusions of other minerals or matrix stone.
