Ranging in shade from colorless to blue, green, pink, yellow, violet, or brown, Fluorapatite can occur in igneous rocks, as an accessory mineral, in late-magmatic segregations, or as microscopic crystals. It is common in magnetite deposits as well as hydrothermal veins. Among crystal collectors, Blue Apatite is the most sought after, being made into gemstone jewelry, tumbled stones, and crystal carvings.
