Black Tourmaline Rutilated Quartz Tumbled Gemstone

Metaphysical Properties, Uses, Healing Powers & Meaning of Black Rutile Quartz

Stone for Soothing Negative Energy

Black rutilated quartz is a stunning gemstone that captivates the mind, body and soul from the moment you first lay eyes on its shimmer. The quartz holds within its grasp black straw-like inclusions of black tourmaline. It cleanses the atmosphere around you and motivates you to energize your spirit. This stone pulls negative energy from within and filters it away from you. It condenses positive energy into streams of uplifting energy that gives you grace, happiness and enlightenment. You will find your anxieties, fears and issues subside when you work closely with the gemstone.

Black Rutile Quartz may exhibit bars or "splashes" of Black Tourmaline spiking through clear Quartz, or it may cloud the Quartz with the amount of rutilation within until it resembles Smoky Quartz.

You will receive one tumbled stone approximately 0.5"-1.25".

Due to its rutilated nature, these stones may exhibit a slightly uneven surface where the Black Tourmaline is not completely encapsulated within the Quartz.

Other Information
Tourmaline can have a chemical composition of calcium, sodium, and or potassium, as well as others. Because of the different minerals and chemical compositions, Tourmaline can come in in varying styles of colors. It is also mined in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.
