Fire Agate Meaning and Metaphysical Properties
Fire Agate, also known as Red Snakeskin Agate, is known as a sublime stone for protection, cleansing, and renewal. Associated with the Sacral Chakra and the Fire Element, Fire Agate brings us a wealth of encouragement, positivity, persistence, and passion. It's considered a fantastic crystal for manifesting goals and opportunities, and is used when pursuing success. Fire Agate is also associated with sensual energy, desire, and erotic confidence, making it a natural choice for those who wish to amplify sex magic or build a strong self-image.
This specific type of orange-red gemstone with flame-like patterns of lighter shades occurs when natural warm tones of Agate crystal meet with human ingenuity! Although Fire Agate (sometimes referred to as Red Snakeskin Agate or Crackle Fire Agate) can occur naturally when the stone is heated by thermal events in the Earth, the majority of the Fire Agate on the market has had a little help from humankind. By applying heat, internal fractures and crackles can be applied to the stone, giving it a memorable textured pattern similar to Rainbow Crackle Quartz. Although the common moniker "Fire Agate" is used for this stone, it shouldn't be confused with Goethite-and-Limonite included Chalcedony specimens that use the same name.
Product Information:
You will receive one Fire Agate tumbled stone measuring approximately 0.75 - 1.1 inch long. Stones may feature spots of texture, druzy, or banding.
Fire Agate is created when natural Agate stones are heated and cooled, allowing them to take on their characteristic crackled patterns. As such, in our shop we consider them treated stones.
