Tree Agate Meaning and Metaphysical Properties
Tree Agate is a cousin of Moss Agate and is known as a nature gemstone for inner peace and connecting to the spirits of Mother Nature. Sometimes the two crystal variations can be found alongside one another, in which case it may be referred to as Moss Tree Agate. Both are wonderful gems for spiritual healing and grounding to dissolve chaotic energies. Work with Tree Agate when you are looking for balance in life and want to surround yourself with harmony, need a touchstone to the Earth, or want to encourage spiritual growth and wisdom along your life journey.

Tree Agate, sometimes Tree Chalcedony, is a natural gemstone variant of Chalcedony whose strings and branches of color are typically green to brownish-black, giving the appearance of tree branches covered in snow. Deriving primarily from mineral inclusions of Chlorite, Hornblende, Iron Oxides, and Manganese Oxide, Tree Agate's earthy shades are particularly striking because they stand out against the white (or cream) Chalcedony, which is usually semi-translucent to fully opaque.

Each Tree Agate is unique since these are natural crystals. They feature texture, rough spots, and dips, as pictured, since they are freeform tumbled stones and not all inclusions are fully encapsulated.
